Using his job as an excuse, he often goes traveling, wanting to see new sights and experiences. Even if they can be a bit on the dangerous side at times.
His soul having previously been from the First, it somehow found its way to the Source. Although, it may have left some fractures in him along the way. Some may find him toiling away at tomes and papers at Old Sharlayan's library, trying to find answers for himself. On some nights, we works at the the Autumntide Reserve, a lounge he co-owns.

Meet the RPEr

Ayo, you can still call me Nyx ooc. I'm a 26 year old trans man living in EST. I'm a bit of a wallflower when it comes to meeting new people and joining conversation. If you see me hanging around, feel free to chat me up if I'm not already in a conversation with someone. Some of the things I go by when it comes to RP are:

  • RP 21+ - I would prefer for my RP partners to be 21+ in and out of character.

  • Lore - I'm pretty relaxed about lore. I don't mind the bending and adding to things that aren't exactly canon to ff14 as long as people are having a good time. If you're someone that's very dedicated to RPing the lore exactly as it is, we may not be the best of RP partners.

  • RP Themes - I'm pretty open to a lot of things. If you want to RP something that falls more on the mature side, just ask me first. consent is always important.

  • No homohobia/transphobia/racism/etc. - Don't think this really needs a whole lot of explaining.

  • IC =/= OOC - Simple as that. I'm RPing a character. Things I may say or do IC does not mean I believe it OOC and vice versa. Same goes for any feelings or the like.

  • No God-Modding around my character - I just don't like it or find enjoyment in it.

  • Got questions? Feel free to ask! - Nothing wrong with asking questions. Better to know!

Bonds

Lana Auresco

Lana found Nyx wandering the Coerthas Western Highlands, injured and alone. She helped him find his way back and helped him heal. Ever since, the two have been incredibly close, calling each other brother and sister.
The poor girl often finds herself exasperated with Nyx's behavior. And sometimes having to clean up after his chaotic pursuits. But Nyx cares deeply for her and would pull out all the stops for her. All she would need to do is say the word.

A'hlan Tia

A'hlan and Nyx met by working the same job. At first, the two would jab at each other back and forth. All in good fun, so they would say. As time passed by, the two grew closer. From coworkers, to friends, to something more for a time.
The two bicker back and forth, much to the amusement of their friends. But at the end of the day, the two are good friends. Sometimes stealing snacks from the man or taking naps at his house.
These days, the two run the Autumntide Reserve together, opening every so often to offer guests a moment of casual respite. And maybe a little something else underneath the surface of the lounge.

Helios Virdi

The two met through shared work at a venue. It began with Helios tap dancing on every single one of Nyx's nerves. Stealing his drinks, throwing things at him, the works. It grew into a friendship with quite the strange dynamic. Then, Nyx became Helios's mentor, teaching and guiding the way as Helios learns to become a reaper.
While the two still poke and prod at each other's nerves, they're still great friends. Nyx tries to keep out of Helios's way, letting him make his own decisions. But the Viera watches over him, making sure the miqo'te doesn't hurt himself somehow when he does.
